Every question home sauna buyers ask — answered honestly.
A quality home infrared sauna ranges from ~$1,899 (portable) to $7,499+ (3-person cabin) at Aura. Across major US brands, 2-person models run $5,199–$7,950. Watch for hidden freight and white-glove fees — ours are included.
The "best" depends on your space, household size, and budget. Our 60-second quiz matches you to the right model — or compare us openly against big brands on our comparison page.
Infrared saunas are widely used daily for wellness routines. If you are pregnant, managing a heart condition, or have health concerns, consult your doctor first — that's our honest guidance, not fine print.
Most home saunas draw 1.4–2.4 kW and run 30–45 minutes per session — roughly $0.15–$0.35 per session at average US rates. See our electricity cost guide for the full math.
No plumber — ever. Most 1-person models plug into a standard outlet. Larger models may want a dedicated 20A circuit; an electrician visit is simple and inexpensive if needed.
Two-person freight delivery with room-of-choice placement and packaging removal — included free with every Aura sauna. Most competitors charge extra or leave your 500-lb crate at the curb.
Many customers do, with a letter of medical necessity. We provide itemized receipts; check your plan administrator for eligibility.
You probably mean an infrared sauna — "infared" is a common misspelling (it gets thousands of searches a month!). Infrared saunas use infrared light panels to heat your body directly, rather than heating the air like traditional saunas. Browse our infrared saunas for sale to see the full range.
30-day home trial. Return freight and a restocking fee apply — stated plainly on our shipping & returns page. We'd rather you know now than discover it later.
